This latest QBench update truly "assays" the power of customer feedback, enhancing your user experience with Dynamic Worksheets updates, a streamlined customer portal, and a more intuitive assay selection process—because we believe making your lab more efficient is a matter of principle, not just protocol!
Are you a QBench customer with ideas for new features? We’d love to hear them. Use the "Submit Feedback" link in your user dropdown menu to submit your ideas and vote on feature requests. The requests with the most votes get considered first in our roadmap planning.
What’s New:
Features from Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)
- You can now use Dynamic Worksheets for Protocol worksheets at the batch and test levels. See below for more details.
- Worksheet Reason Required now works on Dynamic Worksheets. See below for more details.
- You can now see the number of samples in the Order information section in the V2 Customer Portal. See below for more details.
- The Order Report button is now hidden on the Order details page of the Customer Portal V2 when an Order-level report does not exist.
- You can now more easily assign unique combinations of Assays in a new Assay/Panel assignment UI. See below for more details.
Dynamic Worksheets
- You can now use Dynamic Worksheets for Protocol worksheets at the batch and test levels. This allows you to migrate your existing Spreadsheet Worksheets to the new, more powerful Dynamic Worksheets.
- Worksheet Reason Required now works on Dynamic Worksheets. This allows you to check the "Reason required" checkbox on a Dynamic Worksheet, which requires a reason to be logged anytime the worksheet is updated.
Customer Portal
- You can now see the number of samples in the Order information section in the Customer Portal V2. This way, you can find the sample count easily and don’t have to count up the sample total in an order manually.
- The Order Report button is now hidden on the Order details page of the Customer Portal V2 when an Order-level report does not exist.
Key/Value Stores
- You can now more easily manage your Key/Value Stores in a more user-friendly way. Not a developer or don’t know the JSON format well? No problem! Use the new, simpler Key/Value Store UI to add, remove, and modify your Key/Value Stores.
Assay & Panel Selection
- You can now more easily assign unique combinations of Assays in a new Assay/Panel assignment UI. The 2D grid of Samples and Assays enables simple, point-and-click assigning with checkboxes and quick multi-selection, speeding up Assay assigning and reducing the number of clicks required. This new feature is best for labs with numerous Assays that cannot be grouped into pre-defined Panels. Lab admins can turn this on by going to Configuration > Application > General Settings and then checking the box called “Enable Bulk Assays/Panels Assignment.”
A special treat for those of you who read all the way here: What did the substrate whisper to the enzyme? "I think we really bond well!” To which the enzyme replied, “Ugh, you don’t even understand binding vs. bonding,” and then stormed off.
