What’s New:

  • Filters
  • On the test list page, when filtering by the tags field of multiple data types (test, sample, order), there is now an option called Tags Filter Action, which allows you to choose how the filter will look for tags across multiple data types. You can choose between Match All (And), which will look for tests where all tags are matched across all data types, or Match Any (Or), which will look for tests where the tags are matched for any data type.
  • You can now create global sample filters and global sample filter groups.
  • Attachments You can now upload multiple files at a time in the attachments tab of any data type, File name inputs will be pre-populated with with names of the uploaded files. You can still manually overwrite any of the file names before saving.
  • Order Logging
  • Added the ability to expose additional assay fields next to the assay title in the tests table during order logging. You can do this by going to Configuration>Application>Fields and Data Types, clicking Assay under the Fields tab, and clicking the Show on order receiving button on the fields you would like to expose.
  • You can now create sub samples from existing samples on the order logging page. For default sample entry (not read-only) select the samples you would like to sub-sample, then click + Add and choose Create Sub-Samples (for read-only sample entry, click + Add and choose Create Sub-Samples first, then select the samples you would like to sub-sample). Enter the number of sub-samples you would like to create for each sample and then click Create Sub-Samples. You will the be able to modify any details you would like before saving.
  • Customer Portal
  • Added test field configuration for the customer portal
  • Added the ability to expose additional assay fields next to the assay title when assigning tests for order requests in the customer portal. You can do this by going to Configuration>Application>Customer Portal, clicking the Assay tab, and clicking the Order Request button on the fields would like to expose. If the button color is solid black the field is exposed. If it's white the field will not be exposed.
  • End users can now add attachments to an order request before submitting.
  • Excel/CSV Exports
  • When exporting data to Excel, clicking Export All will now queue the export, allowing you to leave the page and come back later to retrieve the file. When the export is ready, the Import/Export button will show a red exclamation point. Click the button and select Download Latest Export All to retrieve the file. Note this only pertains to the Export All option. All other options will still send the file directly back to the browser.
  • Export Worksheet Data to CSV option has been moved from the Action dropdown on the test list page to the Import/Export button.
  • Reporting Report generation has been improved to provide more feedback to the user when generating a batch of multiple reports. Users will now be able to see how many reports have been generated out of the total amount requested as they are being generated.

QoL / Bug Fixes

  • Fixing issues with worksheet calculations when there were too many calculations dependent on other calculations.
  • Fixed sample fields not displaying dynamically in label printing pop up and assay assignment pop up for order requests in customer portal.
  • Fixed sample ID not appearing in tests table when assigning tests for order requests in customer portal.
  • End users can now assign multiple assays or panels at a time for order requests in customer portal.
  • Fixed encoding issue when sending custom messages with emails that had a line break in them.
  • When publishing to portal on order logging page, the number of emails you can add when sending the notification email is no longer limited to the number of contacts that have portal access for the associated customer.
  • Attachments for equipment records are now listed out directly in the records table on the equipment detail page under the Records tab.
  • You can now use ctrl + F to search in the template design editor for report and invoice templates.
  • Fixed Print Labels option on samples list page not displaying if the batches module was disabled.
  • Added pagination to inventory stock tab on inventory detail page.
  • Improve design of stats on dashboard.
  • Fixed datetime fields not being converted to correct timezone in customer portal.
  • Due date will now show date instead of datetime in Excel export and timezone issue causing the following date to be shown has been fixed.
  • Fixed bug where order cannot be saved if it is unreceived order request.
  • Date and Tag accordions in filters pop ups will not show if all date or tag fields are hidden, respectively.
  • Fixed datetime fields now showing date picker for order requests in customer portal.
