Our updated mission statement at QBench is “Making more time for science.” That’s exactly what we’re doing with this release – rolling out features that save you loads of time so you can focus more on the science you’re great at and less on cumbersome data management tasks.
Are you a QBench customer with ideas for new features? We’d love to hear them. Use the "Submit Feedback" link in your user dropdown menu to submit your ideas and vote on feature requests. The requests with the most votes get considered in our roadmap planning.

Inventory
- You can now enter a “Stock Default Price” on Inventory Items and see an Average Cost per Use and Total Cost for Used Stock of your Inventory Items. This allows you to know the cost per Test/Batch or Average Cost per Use of Inventory Stock.
Reports
- Docx Report Templates can now render the Report Export Range from Spreadsheet Worksheets and Dynamic Worksheets.
Dynamic Worksheets
- No-Code File Parsers can now send data into a specific tab of a Dynamic Worksheet. This allows you to have tabs for the raw data and separate tabs for a reporting range or calculations. Or you can come up with other creative uses; the flexibility of the tab structure gives you a lot more freedom to organize your data.
- You can now pass in a system name to a merge cell range input. This allows you to specify the range inside a Worksheet instead of in the Report editor.
- You can now configure your Dynamic Worksheets to fetch a KV (Key-Value) Store value. This allows you to, for example, store your Limit of Detection (LoD) and Limit of Quantitation (LoQ) in a KV Store and have multiple Worksheets retrieve those values.
- You can now associate Controls with Dynamic Worksheets. For any Control, you can associate it with named cells or coordinates in a Dynamic Worksheet and use the values in the worksheet to generate QC result charts.
Customer Portal V2
- If you use the Customer Portal V2, your customers will now see a reminder banner if an Order Request they’re viewing is in a PENDING CHANGES status. This banner links them directly to the relevant Order Request and proactively encourages them to make the requested revisions and resubmit the order request to keep the process moving.
