QBench August 18th, 2024 Product Release Notes

This release is all about making your life easier. We’ve beefed up the Customer Portal with SAML/SSO setup, added template enhancements, and fine-tuned the user experience.

Are you a QBench customer with ideas for new features? We’d love to hear them. Use the "Submit Feedback" link in your user dropdown menu to submit your ideas and vote on feature requests. The requests with the most votes get considered first in our roadmap planning.

What’s New:

Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)

• SAML/SSO Setup for Customer Portal: Introduced the ability to set up SAML/SSO for the Customer Portal V2. See below for more details.
• Fill Down Shortcut for Test Creation: Enabled a fill-down shortcut when creating Samples from Inventory. See below for more details.
• Page Numbers in Templates: Added the ability to include page numbers in both Invoice and Quotation templates. See below for more details.

Customer Portal

• SAML/SSO Setup: Introduced the ability to set up SAML/SSO for the Customer Portal V2, improving security and making it easier for customers to manage their accounts.
• Email Preferences: Added email preferences to the Customer Portal V2 settings, allowing users to manage their email notifications.

Sample Creation

• Fill Down Shortcut: Enabled the use of a fill-down shortcut when creating Samples from Inventory. This update helps speed up sample creation, reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency.

Templates

• Invoice Template: Added page numbers to the Visual Editor for Invoice templates. This feature enhances the clarity and professionalism of printed documents as well as makes it easier to navigate longer documents.
• Quotation Template: Added page numbers to the Visual Editor for Quotation templates.
