  • Update Portal Profile: Portal users can edit their profile information without admin assistance. The fields available for portal users to edit can be configured in the Customer Portal field configuration for Contacts.
  • Portal Admins Can Manage Other Contacts: Portal admins can edit other Contacts' details within their organization for more efficient contact management and easier administration.
  • Invite Existing Users: Portal Admins can invite existing Customer Portal users to join their organization. This allows for a Contact to be part of more than one Customer entity.
  • Remove Contacts: Admins can remove Contacts to maintain accurate user lists.
  • Onboarding Prompts for Portal Users: New prompts guide new portal admins through important onboarding actions, improving the Customer Portal v2 onboarding experience.
  • Configure Portal Field Visibility: Portal admins can mark fields as "Read Only" in the Customer Portal configuration, ensuring fields are visible but not editable.
  • Customer Portal Roles: Portal Admins can select specific roles for portal users, allowing them to specify, for instance, that some users are billing users and some as order submitters.

Sample Management

  • Sample Pooling: This feature allows users to combine multiple Samples into a single pool for cohesive tracking and streamlined workflows. For example, given three Samples, when you select to Pool the Samples, a new Sample is created with the three selected Samples as sub-samples. This is available on the Tests Landing page > Action Button.
  • Adjust Sources on Sub-Samples: Admins can enable a setting allowing LIMS users to change the Source on Sub-Samples to a different Source than the parent Sample.
  • Turnaround Times Specific to Assays: Admins can now configure Turnaround Times that are only available on specific Assays, giving them more control and flexibility. Admins can enable this in the General Settings. Once enabled, only Turnarounds that are associated with the Assay on the Test will be available for selection when assigning a Turnaround to a Test.
  • Translate Data Vertically/Horizontally in File Parsers: You can now toggle the source data to be translated horizontally or vertically when entered into the target worksheet with an in-app File Parser.

Billing

  • Customer-Specific Assay Discounts: Discounts can now be configured at the Assay category level for individual Customers to support tailored pricing options.
  • Order Request Pricing Breakdown in Portal: Portal users can now see a full pricing breakdown of their Order Requests with the original list prices, surcharges (e.g. rush turnaround fees), discounts (including any Customer-specific discounts), and final prices.

Dynamic Worksheets

  • Dynamic Worksheets File Parser Support: Dynamic Worksheets now support in-app File Parsers, enabling more sophisticated automation configurations.

v2 API

  • Order Comments API Endpoint: A new v2 API endpoint allows external systems to retrieve Order Comments, improving integration and communication capabilities.

Notifications

  • Notification Enhancements for Comments: Admins can configure email recipients for comment notifications. When a new comment is added to an Order, all configured email addresses will receive a "New Comment has been made" notification. This can be configured in the General Settings.
