QBench February 2nd, 2025 Product Release Notes

What’s New:

Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)

  • Default Expanded Test Fields Option in Customer Portal v2: Admins can now configure test fields to be expanded by default in the Customer Portal v2. See details below.
  • Faster Worksheet Bulk Editing, Bulk Saving, and Bulk Order Updates: Big tasks, meet big speed. We’ve optimized the app so you can tackle bulk operations faster than ever. See below for details.

Customer Portal v2

  • Expanded Test Fields by Default in Customer Portal v2: Admins now have the option to configure test fields to appear expanded by default in Customer Portal v2. This update makes important details, such as turnaround times and specifications, more accessible during test entries or edits, improving usability and visibility.

Performance Improvements

  • Faster Sample-level Worksheet Bulk Editing: Significant improvements have been made to the performance of loading Sample-level Worksheets for bulk editing. This ensures quicker access to large datasets, reducing wait times and improving workflow efficiency.
  • Streamlined Bulk Saving of Sample-level Worksheets: The speed of bulk saving Sample-level Worksheets has been optimized to allow for faster processing when saving updates to large numbers of Samples simultaneously.
  • Enhanced Bulk Order Updating from the Orders List page and the API: Whether updating Orders via the Orders List page or through the API, users will notice faster processing times for bulk updates. These enhancements help streamline high-volume operations and improve overall system responsiveness.

Password Reset Enhancements

  • Updated Outgoing Email for Password Setup or Reset: Password setup and reset emails now include instructions on how to handle expired links. Additionally, users will see an improved interface for invalid or expired password reset requests, including a clear option to initiate a new reset. These changes ensure a smoother and more intuitive experience.
