What’s New:

Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)

  • History for Key/Value Store: We added a history tab to track changes to your Key/Value Stores. See below for more details.
  • Block Emails when Invoices are Unpaid: Added the ability to block Report emailing options when the Invoice attached to that Order is not fully paid. See below for more details.
  • Copy Values from Source Fields in Automations: Added the ability to select Source as an option to copy values from in a Test or Sample level in-app Automation. See below for more details.
  • Ability to Define Inventory Ratios for Formulations: Added the ability to calculate the amount of Inventory Stock used in Formulations based off of the ratio defined at the Formulation level. See below for more details.
  • Associate Equipment Used to Create Formulations: Added the ability to associate the Equipment used to create Formulations by using a Resource Group assigned to the Formulation. See below for more details.
  • Consistent “Active" Filters on Landing Pages: Improved usability with consistent “Active" filters across all landing pages. See below for more details.

Key-Value Store

  • History for Key/Value Store: Added a history tab to track changes to your Key/Value Stores, ensuring data transparency and traceability. This allows you to track and audit Key/Value Store modifications more easily.

Automations

  • Copy Values from Source Fields in Automations: Added the ability to select Source as an option to copy values from in a Test or Sample level in-app Automation. This makes Automations more flexible and powerful as you can copy from a wider range of entities in QBench.

Inventory, Equipment, and Formulations

  • Ability to Define Inventory Ratios for Formulations: Added the ability to calculate the amount of Inventory Stock used in Formulations based on a ratio defined at the Inventory Item Formulation level. This ensures accurate Inventory deductions when using Formulations.
  • Associate Equipment Used to Create Formulations: Added the ability to associate the Equipment used to create Formulations by using a Resource Group assigned to the Formulation. The Equipment in the Formulation will be available to assign during Inventory Stock creation. Users can additionally manually update Equipment Usage on a Stock after the Stock has been created. This improves batch record traceability by linking the Equipment used and allows you to further define and control your testing process.

Reports and Emails

  • Block Emails when Invoices are Unpaid: Added the ability to block Report emailing when an Invoice associated with an Order is not fully paid. This helps ensure reports are only emailed when the associated invoice is fully paid.

Customer Portal

  • New Customer Portal Roles: Enhanced Customer Portal V2 with a new roles page that allows you to set up access to specific data based on a role. You can now give or restrict portal user permissions on Invoices, Quotations, and Reports. For example, you could limit a portal user’s access to only Quotes and Invoices. This would allow them to do their job as a billing manager but not allow them to see any patient information. Or vice versa, you could allow clinical staff to see patient info but not any invoicing data. This gives you more fine-grained control over Customer Portal permissions.

Templates

  • New and Improved Templates: Introduced an expanded Template Gallery with numerous new Templates, including Sample-level COA (Certificate of Analysis) reports, Labels for various levels (Orders, Tests, Batches, Projects, Locations, Equipment, Controls), and improved templates for Order-level COC (Chain of Custody), Quotations, and Payments. When in the Configuration section of QBench, look for the “Choose Template from Gallery” button to see the new options. These make it much easier to get started on QBench or add a new configuration.
