- Customer Portal Admins: Specify Contacts as Portal Admins for better Customer account management. See below for details.
- Portal User Invites: Customer Portal Admins can invite new users directly to their Portal accounts. See below for details.
- Configure Contact Fields in the Customer Portal: Customize which Contact fields are visible and editable. See below for details.

Customer Portal v2Talk to your Technical Account Manager if you’d like to turn these on for your Customer Portal.
- Customer Portal Admins: This new functionality allows a Contact to be designated as an Admin Customer Portal user, giving them more editing and access permissions.
- Portal User Invites: Portal Admins can invite new users themselves, streamlining Customer Portal access management.
- Configure Contact Fields in the Customer Portal: LIMS Admins can set which Contact fields are visible in the Customer Portal, allowing fine-grained control over which Contact information is displayed editable in the portal.
- Configure Customer Fields in the Customer Portal: LIMS Admins can set which Customer fields are visible in the Customer Portal, tailoring the information displayed and what is editable by portal users.
Control Charting
- Control Chart Reporting: You can now generate detailed, time-interval-based reports for Control Charts, filter them by date, and download both the data and charts. This makes it easier to analyze data trends and prepare for audits.
- Display RSD on Control Charts: Control Charts now include an option to display Relative Standard Deviation (RSD), calculated as (100 * STD / Mean). RSD provides insights into data precision, helping teams measure variability and meet audit requirements.
Reports
- Report Email Configuration: Admins can now configure roles to automatically add relevant Contacts to the “Email To” field for Order communications.
- Report Email Automation: Admins can also enable an option in report-generating automations to send sample-specific reports directly to the designated Sample “Email To” contacts, ensuring that the right individuals are always kept informed.
API
- Invoice Email Sending via API: Users can now send Invoice emails through the API, enabling them to automate billing communication and workflows.
- Customer-Contact Relationship Management: API functionality has been expanded to include creating and deleting Contact-Customer relationships, improving flexibility in external integrations and bulk imports.
Dynamic Worksheets
- Dynamic Worksheet Import Optimizations: Excel imports for dynamic worksheets now have optimization options, providing a smoother and more efficient data import experience.
Search
- Boosted Unique Fields in Search: Unique additional fields now return with a higher score, making them appear higher in search results. This allows you to more easily find specific items you’re searching for.
Quality of Life Enhancements & Bug Fixes
- Disable Attachment Previews Option: Added a new setting to disable the recent update to show previews of Attachments, allowing labs that don’t upload image Attachments to keep the tab compact and quickly scannable.
- Portal Role Assignment Issue: Fixed an issue preventing the assignment of Portal roles to Customers, ensuring smooth role management.
- Balance Visibility Control: Resolved an issue where Customer balances were visible in the portal even without the relevant Invoice Portal Role permissions.
