QBench June 22, 2026 Product Release Notes

From editing your Test-level fields in Panels in CPv2 to required cells on Dynamic Worksheets, this release helps your team enter the right data with fewer clicks and less back-and-forth.

Are you a QBench customer with ideas for new features? We’d love to hear them. Use the "Submit Feedback" link in the Help menu to submit your ideas and vote on feature requests. The requests with the most votes get considered first in our roadmap planning.

Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)

  • Edit Test-level fields when adding Panels in CPv2: When adding Panels to an Order, you can now edit Test-level fields in addition to Panel-level fields. See details below.
  • Required Worksheet Cells: Require the cells that matter so data can't be missed. See details below.

Customer Portal

  • Edit Test-level fields when adding Panels in CPv2: Set up an order in fewer clicks — no jumping ahead to the review step just to change a field on a Test.
    • Click on a Sample and fill in details for a whole Panel once and have them apply to every Test inside it, or adjust individual Assays when one needs to differ.
    • Create Tests for Samples that are checked off.
    • Schedule recurring Tests for each Sample.
    • If removing a Sample would delete existing Tests, you'll get a confirmation first, with an easy undo.

Dynamic Worksheets

  • Required Worksheet Cells: Designate specific cells on a Dynamic Worksheet as required, and QBench won't let the worksheet save until they're filled in — catching gaps like a missing prep weight before they reach QA. Includes required cell ranges.
  • Worksheet Blueprint Gallery: Create new worksheets from a browsable gallery of pre-built templates instead of starting from scratch. Templates are organized by industry with previews, so Lab Admins can find and apply the right setup in minutes.

A special treat for those who read all the way here:

Why did the Sample feel so understood?
It finally found a Panel with great chemistry.
