Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)
- Batch and Sample Worksheet data in Analytics Plus/Pro: Report on your worksheet data directly inside QBench Analytics—batch and sample worksheet results now flow in automatically alongside your other lab data. See details below.
- Bulk assign technicians to Batch Protocol Steps: Assign a single technician to Protocol Steps across multiple Batches—complete with a preview of what will and won’t change. See details below.
- API v2 support for Specifications: New API v2 endpoints and scopes for working with Specifications, including Assay-level management and Test-level read access. See details below.
- SAML Login support for Windows Hello: Sign in successfully with Windows Hello (PIN/fingerprint) when using SAML SSO. See details below.
Analytics Plus/Pro
Batch and Sample Worksheet data in Analytics Plus/Pro: Both Batch and Sample Worksheet results are now available alongside your other lab data, so you can build dashboards and trend reports on the values your team captures during testing — things like QC trending across instruments, turnaround time for batched work, or how a given analyte is performing over time.

Batches & Protocols
- Bulk assign technicians to Batch Protocol Steps: Users with batch-write permission can now select multiple Batches from the Batch List and bulk-assign one technician to one or more Protocol Steps. The flow includes a confirmation preview that clearly shows which Protocol Steps will be updated—and which will be skipped (for example, if a Batch is locked, a step is already completed, or the step isn’t present on a selected Batch).
API v2
- API v2 support for Specifications: API v2 now includes endpoints to manage Specification Model Items under Assays (full CRUD) and to list Test Specification Items under Tests (read-only). These entities are also available in the API Client scopes UI, enabling granular permissions for API integrations.
Authentication & SSO
- SAML Login support for Windows Hello: QBench SAML authentication no longer restricts the identity provider to password-only authentication contexts. This improves compatibility with modern sign-in methods like Windows Hello (certificate-backed PIN/fingerprint/face) for both LIMS and Customer Portal SSO entry points, while keeping standard password-based SAML login behavior unchanged.
