From smarter Sample pooling to expanded attachment capabilities, improved Customer Portal visibility, and richer reporting functions, v2.87 brings high-impact improvements directly shaped by your feedback.

Are you a QBench customer with ideas for new features? We’d love to hear them. Use the "Submit Feedback" link in your user dropdown menu to submit your ideas and vote on feature requests. The requests with the most votes get considered first in our roadmap planning.

Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)

  • Disable PrintDoc generation in Customer Portal: Admin control to prevent document generation in the portal. See details below.
  • Attach Files to Sources in Customer Portal: Add attachments directly to Source records in the Customer Portal. See details below.
  • Smarter Sample Pooling: Group Samples more effectively and assign Tests. See details below.
  • View Sample/Test Attachments in Customer Portal: Portal users can now view linked attachments. See details below.

Customer Portal

  • Disable PrintDocs in Customer Portal: Admins can now prevent document generation via the Customer Portal. This provides better control over printdoc sharing and data governance.
  • Sample/Test Attachments in Customer Portal: Users of the Customer Portal can now view attachments added to Samples and Tests. This ensures better transparency and minimizes support requests for file access.

Sample Management

  • Sample Pooling Grouping: Enhances Sample Pooling by allowing logical grouping, making pooled Sample management and reporting easier.
  • Sample Pooling Test Assignment: Enables assigning Tests to pooled Samples, giving labs improved flexibility and traceability in pooled workflows.

Sources

  • Attach Files to Sources in Customer Portal: You can now attach files directly to Source records in the Customer Portal, improving documentation and compliance tracking at the Source level.

Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Enhancements

  • Conditional Formatting in Reports: Fixed a bug that prevented conditional formatting from displaying in Reports rendered from Dynamic Worksheets. Now formatting rules like cell color changes apply correctly.
  • Sample-Level Worksheet Save Error: Fixed a bug where users needed to manually save sample level worksheets before a file parser could parse data into the sample level worksheet.
