From finer control in report history to smoother file parser workflows and improved Customer Portal options, this release brings a series of thoughtful enhancements designed to make your QBench experience faster, more flexible, and easier to manage.

Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)
- Keep Overridden Reports in Customer Portal v2: Option to retain all previously generated reports so portal users can access report history. See details below.
- Display Overridden Report Labels in Customer Portal v2: Clearly indicate when a report has been overridden, enhancing transparency for portal users. See details below.
- Copy Individual Finders in File Parsers: Quickly duplicate a finder in a standard file parser. See details below.
- Reorganize Finder Order in File Parsers: Drag and drop to re-order finders, making configuration more intuitive. See details below.
Customer Portal v2
- Keep Overridden Reports: LIMS Admins can now enable a new setting—“Keep overridden reports in the portal”—to preserve historical reports when updated versions are published. When enabled, portal users will see all previously published versions under a new "Reports" tab within an Order, providing full visibility into the evolution of a report
- Display Overridden Report Labels: Building on the new report history feature, QBench now supports visually tagging overridden reports. When enabled via the “Indicate reports are ‘Overridden’ in the portal” option, users will see clear labels marking reports that have been replaced, helping users distinguish which report version is current.
File Parsers
- Clone Individual Finders in File Parsers: You can now clone a single finder when configuring standard file parsers. This new "Clone" button saves time by allowing users to quickly duplicate existing finders and make minimal tweaks instead of starting from scratch.
- Reorder Finders in File Parsers: Bring logic and order to your file parsing configuration! You can now drag and drop finders to reorder them within standard file parsers. Whether for organization or functional grouping, this enhancement gives you more control over parser behavior.
Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Enhancements
- Incorrect Custom ID Generation for Parent Samples: Fixed a bug with the “Incremented Number of Sample Created On Order” setting not applying correctly.
- Inactive Assays No Longer Selectable: Fixed a bug that was allowing selection of inactive Assays.
A special treat for those who read all the way here:
Why did the file parser go to therapy?
Because it had too many unresolved references!
