QBench September 8th, 2024 Product Release Notes

This release is all about making your life easier. We’ve beefed up the Customer Portal with SAML/SSO setup, added template enhancements, and fine-tuned the user experience.

Are you a QBench customer with ideas for new features? We’d love to hear them. Use the "Submit Feedback" link in your user dropdown menu to submit your ideas and vote on feature requests. The requests with the most votes get considered first in our roadmap planning.

What’s New:

Customer Requests (You asked, we delivered!)

• Assay Restriction Based on Selected Tests During Batch Creation: Implemented a feature that filters the list of Assays based on the selected Tests from the Tests list page. See below for more details.
• Restricted Technician Assignment on Protocols: You can now hide the Technician field on Protocol Steps, locking it to the Technician assigned to the Test. See below for more details.
• Recurrence Testing in the Customer Portal V2: Enhanced the Customer Portal with recurrence testing features. See below for more details.
• Field Groups in the Customer Portal V2: Introduced the ability to manage Field Groups within the Customer Portal V2. See below for more details.
• Quotation Field Configuration Settings: Additional Fields have been added for Quotations, including common functionality such as filtering options and sorting/hiding fields. See below for more details.

Customer Portal

• Recurrence Testing in the Customer Portal V2: Enhanced the Customer Portal V2 with recurrence testing features, providing more robust options for managing recurring customer interactions.
• Field Groups in the Customer Portal V2: Introduced the ability to manage field groups within the Customer Portal V2, improving data organization and ease of access.

Dynamic Worksheets

• Dynamic Worksheet Named Cell Export Range: Introduced the ability to display worksheet data in a report with a named cell range, enhancing flexibility in data management and reporting.
• Charting: Added the capability to reference Dynamic Worksheet data with our in-app Charting module.

Quotations

• Quotation Field Configuration Settings: Users can now configure additional fields in Quotations, providing more customization and control over how quotations are generated.
• Quotation Additional Fields Landing Page Filters: Added new filtering options to the Quotations landing page, allowing for more precise data management and quicker access to relevant information.
• Quotation Detail Page Configuration: Updated the Quotation detail page to utilize the new field configuration settings, improving user experience and workflow efficiency.

Protocols

• Restricted Technician Assignment on Protocols: You can now hide the Technician field on Protocol Steps. This ensures that only the Technician running the Test is associated with the Protocol. Preventing other Technicians from being mistakenly assigned enhances accuracy and control during Protocol execution.

Assay Management

• Assay Restriction Based on Selected Tests During Batch Creation: Implemented a feature that restricts the list of Assays available based on the selected tests during Batch creation on the Tests list page, ensuring that only relevant assays are displayed and reducing potential errors. This is a general setting and must be turned on to utilize.
